An all-gold sport of H. 'June'. Leaves emerge gold and fade to chartreuse by mid-summer. Hosta 'May' creates a good contrast when the older chartreuse leaves are held under the newer gold leaves. The gold leaves are thick and have distinctive veining. Will hold a better gold color if sited in a bright location. Lavender flowers appear in mid to late summer.
